A short 20 minute walk from downtown San Jose and a short bus ride from the host families. There is a full-time teaching staff of 18 instructors. During the high season the staff increases to 29 teachers in order to ensure small groups and personalized attention. The teaching staff is accredited by the Costa Rican Ministry of Education and all instructors have university degrees in Spanish, Education, Linguistics or Philology from the University of Costa Rica or the Universidad Nacional (the two most prestigious universities in the country). Some instructors hold a Graduate Degree and others have additional studies in areas such as Journalism, Law, Sociology, Literature, Poetry, Drama and other fields. ACCREDITATIONS: The Teachers, Spanish Courses and Cultural program are officially authorized by the Costa Rican Ministry of Education.
