Austria has moderate central European type climate. Influenced mostly by the Atlantic Ocean. There are four distinct seasons; Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. The Northeastern Region has warm, hot, and humid conditions during summer and cold weather in the winter. Many mountains peaks are snow-covered yearly.
