How to apply Financial Aid for First Step Programs? |
Students receiving credit from their university for a study abroad program are able to apply Financial Aid through The Higher Education Act. According to this act students are able to apply their Stafford loans, Pell Grants and PLUS & Perkins loans to study abroad at programs offered by First Step. For state or institution aid students will need to check with the appropriate agency for guidelines on applicability.

Getting started? |
Student's financial aid office will request from us specific enrollment information i.e. duration and credits, tuition, accommodation, course material and living costs. If your financial aid office is unaware of the process, refer them to chapter 7 in the 2003-2004 edition of the IFAP's Student Financial Aid Handbook on Written Agreements.
